From New York to the Golden Gate
It catched an awful fate
And caused everyone to faint
The odor was better than a piece of steak
That causes windows to break
its also so clean
That the smell will make you look really mean

No,poetry doesnt have to make sense its just how you express your feelings or things.I think that it can be random words on a paper because it just expresses things.Also it just expresses your thoughts and feelings.
